One of the benefits of coming up for air from within the slough of free speech despond is that you realize the regime’s constant yammering on with “Tu Quoque!” and both-sides’ing is kindergarten level argumentation. No, good society does not need to permit vile, wicked, abominable, blasphemous speech in order to “protect” good speech – the slogan itself is wickedness upon wickedness. It is honest-to-goodness right, fine, and good for the political authority to permit good speech on its own merits while crushing under the benevolent boot of Authority wicked speech. Don’t let recent events pull you back into the swamp.
