When the wood faileth, the fire shall go out: and when the talebearer is taken away, contentions shall cease.
Explained and Always Explaining
We’re told – warned? – that in heaven the blessed will be fully known. We are never told that about the damned. Purgatory allows us to be known, thus loved. Being damned is “to be explained and always be explaining.”
That whole “know” situation has been really on my mind lately. Apart from cutting against “faith alone” theology it has come to mean very much to me. Hard to explain. Thoughts for the future I guess.
Theyre so busy trying to explain themselves that they dont try to know God.
“It was a bad day, you see? Just one bad day, dont you get it??”
