Artificial Intelligence

Implies intelligence. Though, I like how artificial colloquially means “fake but squint your eyes and convince yourself.” Fascinating how nature proclaims the Trinity even if we can only see it after Revelation. Christianity is relational in ways that “Will” and “My Chosens” or “Everything is Nothing” or “Do You, Dog” could never. Probably why we have the best art. My default is “we’re all going to make it.” I imagine the problem there is “all” more than “we.”

  1. Intelligence also implies personality. You can construct a human with identical parts and they all turn out differently. True artificial intelligence exists when you can construct them the exact same way and one of the computers becomes a psychopath.

  2. Just occurred to me after hitting send that “personality” implies “person”.

And while im afterthoughting, intelligence doesn’t mean IQ either. A child with downs syndrome has more intelligence than an AI. Because the child with downs syndrome has free agency, which cannot be synthesized.
