That Scriptural difficulties should be explained away by materialistic difficulties (i.e. evolution) is more an exercise of allegiance to personal difficulties than an allegiance to explanations.

I.e. creation is difficult to grasp so lets substitute a biological mechanism and worry more about those problems than the problems presented by scripture?
